Have you ever noticed that the number of letters in the name of a month get longer as we progress further and further into winter? It’s as if the length of the name corresponds with how long the seasons feel. Summer is always gone before you even realize it. Winter seems never-ending.
Spring and Summer: March, April, May (3 letters!), June, July, August.
Fall and Winter: September, October, November, December, January, February.
