Doing stuff. Doing stuff because it’s healthy to do stuff. Doing stuff because you’d rather not consider the alternatives to doing stuff. Doing stuff because it satisfies, it tranquilizes, it quiets the brain’s longer and more complicated questions. Doing stuff because it feels like an engagement with the world and the people in it. Doing stuff because activity is a very basic form of fuel.
